Fiona Chan

Licensed Bricks for Autism Trainer

Hong Kong

Fiona has more than a decade of experience designing and leading games in private and school settings.  She currently participates in the Kindergarten Social Emotional Learning Project implemented by the Center for Advancement in Inclusive and Special Education(CAISE) in the Faculty of Education of the University of Hong Kong. Its aim is to promote interactive games that enable children to learn social skills and enhance their collaboration and social competence. The project begins in kindergarten and is now extending to family and the community. Fiona also promotes play therapy to non-profit making organizations and helps neurodiverse children through play in Hong Kong. Fiona is one of the founders of Magic Bricks Club, there are now over 100 members. The members aged 5-9 come to the club weekly to gain social-emotional skills through LEGO® - Based Therapy.

The transformation children made through play therapy makes Fiona’s work very rewarding. When she is not working… meaning when she is not playing with children, she enjoys playing bridge and spending time with her friends and family.
